Meet Paul!
Originally from Montreal, Canada, I moved to South Korea in the summer of 2000 for what I had planned to be a 1-year experience abroad teaching English to children in an after-school academy. Little did I know I would meet the love of my life that year and decide to make a go of living as an expat in Asia longer-term.
My second year in Korea saw me land my first job teaching university students in the language institute of Hong-Ik University in central Seoul. In summer 2002, I started teaching at Seoul Women's University full-time, and two years later, I finally ended up in the city of Ansan at Hanyang University ERICA where I am still teaching today.
In between, I traveled a little, got married, had 3 kids, and went back to school to earn my Masters of Education.
Now, I am planning to repatriate back to Canada in the summer of 2023. I am looking forward to the exciting new chapter in my life!
